Security Ratings

As part of how students function at Sunnybrook, they are assigned Security Levels that reflect many aspects of themselves. Their flight risk, power potential, history, grades, and a complete profile of their persons are considered when they are assigned their level. This is done so that students are allowed to do what the administration feels is acceptable for them, while not painting the entire student base with a broad brush. Afterall, Sunnybrook is about getting its students to function as healthy, safe, and happy users of their supernatural abilities.

To apply for a new rating, or qualification, please contact the Staff at anytime. You can always appeal and ask to be placed in certain things for the sake of the student's time at the school.

Students who are categorized as Class I are low level threats to the safety of the school, themselves, and others. These could be small things like, blood replaced with gasoline or softly glowing skin. They have shown no violence and have a low threshold for the damage they could cause. Students may also be placed in this class if they exhibit continued good behavior and are approved by security staff.

II

These students are medium level threats to the safety of the school, themselves, and others. Their powers have a wide application and are growing, they have a good hold on them and don't have a history of violence or destruction. Many students that are placed in this class are unique cases that don't seem to fit any mold.

III

High level threats to the safety of the school, themselves, and others. Their powers are unwieldy and can often cause destruction and injury. Violence is inherent in these students, and they are known problems to the staff. The students placed in this class are usually special cases that have special restraint systems as well as mandatory monitoring devices.
