Isa is a case in strangeness. His naivete is legendary, but so is his fastidiousness. He's very open to criticism, but not to suggestions, and he tends to dive headfirst into everything he does. He's also known for standing still with his eyes open for hours on end without changing his expression at all.
It's easy to picture his tinder profile as a list of reasons you shouldn't ever talk to him.
In his own head, Isa is utterly determined to succeed. He has super clear goals with ridiculously numerous checkpoints to make sure he's on the right track. Isa's long stint with ice seems to have hardened his thoughts quite a bit, and so he usually doesn't go back on decisions, and can be quite repetitive.
Isa's always wearing his getup, white gloves and all, and his skin looks like he just stepped out of a freezer, which those who know him well would probably bet on. If you're looking for him, you can just aim for the soda jerk hat, and if you need to ask directions just ask for the kid trying to sell ice-cream in december.
His expression is permanently frozen in a neutral look that could be mistaken for consideration, but stands in for pretty much all emotions Isa is capable of displaying. His hair is cropped short, and his eyes are sort of mirror-y, as a side-effect of his time in the freezer.
(for kioku: he's 5'3'')
- Brain Freeze: (4 - Brains)
- (Don't take it in all at once)
Isa's brain is a well-calibrated machine; specifically a freezer. Everything in it is preserved to the subatomic composition. He's good at remembering things, and he knows a lot about science… from the 70s.
If you stick your hand in there, it'll probably go numb. (like a snow fortress full of books.)
- Printer Guy: (4 - Brains)
- (Fridge version)
Isa can fix machines. He's good at it. He can build a couple from memory, ones most useful to his calling in life. If your printer starts spitting out ice-cream, remember:
All sales final.
- Juggling Cones: (4 - Agility)
- (Don't let it fall)
Isa has never dropped an ice-cream cone. He never will. This is why. (Because he has good reflexes.)
These are things you're character accomplishes via their power or monster
- The Zone: (4)
- (He's always in it)
Isa can control the movement of all liquids within a three feet range of his circulatory system. He can use this to move things about and build simple machines out of ice. The kind of simple machines that lead to an icicle through a brick wall.
- In The Veins: (3)
- (Ice-cream, yes)
Isa can lower the temperature of liquids in his zone, below freezing point for most. We're talking space cold.
The side effect of your powers, not necessary.
- Does not possess an ice cream truck.
- Soda Jerk Hat

In Isa's Room:
Isa was actually born in 1968. He was born to a family of engineers and summa cum laudes. he was encouraged from early childhood to study instead of play, and never made many friends. The few he did make were at the street-corner, where they gathered to the sound of the Good Humor truck's bells.
Ice-cream was Isa's passion, even after Good Humor was phased out in favor of Mister Softee's franchise. As a mundane he still walked to the river in early winter mornings and scooped out snow and ice to make his own, the old-fashioned way, mixing snow with salt in a bucket so it'd freeze whatever was put in it.
By the time he was in his early teens, his family had made quite a few enemies of people with lot of money to lose, and horrible 'accidents' started to make a trend of funerals apparent even to him. They saw a period of apparent peace after they changed their names to avoid these killers, but it wasn't to last long: days after his mother's first publication under her new name, they had already tracked them down and a car crash sealed their fates.
That is, till the cryonics ambulance showed up and did the job they were paid for.
It would be in 2018 that Isa somehow managed to thaw himself out of the ice's grasp. He walked out of the Alcor foundation's installation, unnoticed but very wet, and his first stop was the sidewalk, where he sat to wait for an ice cream truck to pass.
For three days.
He was eventually scraped off the sidewalk by the GWU, as he had frozen the whole length of it. They were surprised when the ice sculpture started resisting.
