<@SirGoldFish> "Red, nah. blue, maybe? Pink…." Sam is currently browsing through a small shop's selection of hair dyes wearing a brown leather jacket (Fake of course) a pair of un-tattered jeans, and a scarf to cover her mouth. Her shopping bag is filled with various hair care products and some soaps, even though she may act like she does not care, she actually puts in effort to look and smell alright to others.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn had been watching her for a while, like, since she left the school. She had been working up the courage for a while and decided that today would be the day. I mean, she had planned this out, hastily but still planned. Wearing a dark red a-line dress, black tights, brown oxforbs, and a hoodie over top it all. It was dressed up for her at least, even the carefully chosen checkered scarf around her neck. How do you start a conversation when you can't speak anyway? Walking over to Sam, she acted quickly and with little finesse. Grabbing the pink dye that best matched Sam's hair style and holding it up to her to offer it.
<@SirGoldFish> ~Wtf~ "Oh hi," Sam speaks, her voice muffled slightly by the scarf. "Do you work here?" She says, looking around. ~No, her outfit does not fit with the other workers…~
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn swallows a bit. It's already going downhill and her plan is falling appart. She shakes her head and lowers the box a little, before turning and putting it back on the shelf where it was.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam grabs the pink dye, looking at it. "I guess this would look nice…" She barely mutters through her scarf. She looks up at Kat and gives a worried expression. "Uh, is there something wrong?" She says, a tad bit wary at this shockingly un-talkative girl.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn watches her grab the pink dye, a little bit of excitement in her face as she starts to imagine the color on Sam. It would look really nice, she things. She looks over at Sam and shakes her head quickly, starting to remember how odd it is to be near someone who isn't speaking. At all.
<@SirGoldFish> ~This is so weird~ Sam looks at the dye box, shaking it before putting it in her bag. "Uh, thanks" She looks at Kat with slightly nervous eyes. ~Jesus what is up with this girl? Can she even talk?~
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head and stands around her, shifting her weight on her feet. She eventually turns and walks away from her to go bide her time for a second take. Stopping by some small sundries to look them over before she goes to wait by the door. Taking out a small notebook and writing something down, waiting for Sam to pay and head for the exit before she springs her second attack.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam merely blinks as Kat walks away, what an odd girl. Sam goes to buy a hair straightener and pays for her goods with money and a dirty look. She begins to stroll out of the store with her lighter wallet, not expecting anyone to jump her.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn steps in front of her before she reaches the door. Her face full of worry and a bit of a fidget as she tries to turn her notepad around to show Sam, but ends up dropping it on the floor. Leaning down, she tries to grab it but misses it, and takes another try to eventually pick it up and show it to Sam. She's thought long and hard over how to ask her for some time together, and she's come up with the perfect pick up line. 'coffee?'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam briefly goes into a defensive position before returning to a neutral, if not a little confused, posture. She squints, reading the note, raising an eyebrow. "I'am sorry, but do I know you?" She says, being as least offensive as possible, almost concerned for the girl really.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn looks taken back by the comment. She was sure they had seen each other, maybe even talked. She thinks for a second and shakes her head no, better to act like it's their first time meeting.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam is starting to feel like she is on one of those hidden camera shows, but realizes this is too cringe worthy and awkward for that. "If I may ask, why'd you approach me then?" She says, coffee does not sound all that bad. She kind of liked the smell of the stronger stuff.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn thinks about it, and how creepy it would sound if she mentioned watching Sam. She turns the small notebook around and pulls the pencil out of the rings to write on it. After a second she turns it to show her. 'yes/no.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam would usually start getting a little frustrated at this point, but this girl seems to mean well. "I am so sorry, I don't follow. Yes or no to what? I asked why'd you approach me."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn moves the pencil up the page. From the 'yes/no.' up to the 'Coffee?' She starts to feel really anxious and rolls on the balls of her feet. Her stomach is turning.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam does a few calculations in her head as she thinks about it. She decides. "Sure… I guess." This is probably her only chance to get answers and again, the girl seems to mean well. "I am a little light on cash, hope that's not an issue."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn shakes her head, she had planned for this, she had brought enough cash to give Sam a wonderful date. Maybe she had thought about this too much, she had decided not to get flowers on the way over, so there was that. Turning she steps out onto the street and holds the door open for Sam before they head to the local coffee shop.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam follows Katlyn, still dumbfounded about what is happening and how the hell it's happening. She continues playing around with the idea that she is on some hidden camera show and how much she is going to injure the host.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn opens the door to the coffee shop for them and heads into the shop. She heads over to the counter and the barista that by now, with her frequent visits, should know her. Of course she never remembered her at all. She wrote down her order and showed it to the lady, 'sorry im mute. a half-calf vanilla latte with soymilk' The lady made her usual comment of, "weird, I had that order a few days ago." Kat looked over to Sam and motioned her to the counter to order.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam looks dumbfounded at all the varieties of coffee and is also saddened that they do not serve raw meat here. "I'll-" She looks at the menu, squinting to determine the thing's secrets. "I'll just fucking have whatever she is having." She points to Kat.
<LipstickThespian> Kat looks up, and shakes her head. She writes quickly on her notepad and turns it to show the barista. 'americano. extra shot.' It wasn't exactly what Sam might have wanted out of this, but Katlyn always imagined it would be her dream drink. Strong and solid, just like her. The barista nods and goes to make the drinks.
<@SirGoldFish> At this point Sam is just here for the ride so she nods. "Sure." Sam takes a seat close to the counter, hoping that Kat will seat opposite of her. ~I better get some damn answers by the end of this.~ She looks around, the windows, the door, points of interest, and exits. ~I wonder if this is a set up.~
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn waits for the drinks, pays for them, then heads over to where Sam is sitting. Of course she slides into the seat next to Sam and not the ones opposite her. She sets the drink in front of Sam and takes a sip of her own. They always give her almond milk instead of soy. Someday she'll complain.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam begins casually drinking the Americano like it was kool aid, pleasantly surprised at the taste. ~Not bad.~ She glances over to Kat, wondering what is the best time to ask her what the hell is going on, but for now, she is content drinking coffee with who she thought was a cute stranger.
<LipstickThespian> After a short sip or two she sets her cup down, savoring the mediocre coffee flavor. She sets the notepad down on the table in front of her and reaches over with her pencil to circle 'yes.' Crossing her legs, she accidentally brushes her leg against Sam's. She doesn't move it away and keeps it there like she doesn't know it's there. The way her lips seem pursed and tense makes it seem like she's on edge.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam's eyes widen a little in a nervous shock. ~whatisfuckiahshihtblrusgsoingongodhelpme~ But, for some reason, she does not pull away. "Uhm" Her brain begins searching for something to say until it finally finds something after about a half a minute. "Hi." She says in a quick and nervous manner. There are very few things that scare Sam more than social interaction and touch with people she does not know.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn smiles a little to herself as the girl doesn't run away completely. She raises a hand and gives a small wave to Sam in response to the hi, but doesn't look over to her. Reaching over she takes another drink to give her something to do instead of write, but eventually settles with her pencil on the notebook.
<@SirGoldFish> ~AHHHHH!!!~ "Uh, so." Sam begins trying to calm herself, trying to go back to her neutral expression and partially succeeding. "Why'd you bring me here." Sam is starting to get a very vague and hazy idea of what's going on.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn freezes up a bit, well her mind does. Her pencil is shaking a little with just a small tremor in her grip as she absorbs the question. She can't say she's been obsessed and that she wanted to spend her life with that stitched girl. No, no, that's second date material. This is the first date right? After a second of thought she writes on the paper the first answer that comes to her mind. 'i dont know.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam thought and knew how to react to many possible answers to that question most of them ended with her leaving or getting more comfortable, but 'I don't know' what the hell was she supposed to do with that. At least she's more certain that this is not a setup. "Oh, really, no reason?" She says in an only slightly less nervous manner. Sam starts to think hard, she must've seen this girl at least once. "Are you from the school?" She asks. Sam needs some answers.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn seems a little calmed by the the girl's answer. It doesn't show with how tense she is, not even moving the leg against Sam in idle motion. She reads the next line and thinks about how many times she's passed Sam in the hallways. 'ya. we both go there.' she writes where Sam can see the words. 'i like your scarf.'
<@SirGoldFish> Finally, something Sam could work with, she goes to the Sam school, she must've seen her once… maybe. Sam touches her scarf a little, taking a look at the soft crimson red material. "Thanks a classmate sewed it for me."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods, she really did like that scarf on Sam. She thinks she could dress Sam a little better, she liked the grunge look but if she could get Sam into something a little more colorful it would be wonderful. She's going to take her shopping, they're going to go shopping together, of course. 'can i call you samantha. i like the whole thing. it fits you.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam gives a muffled and nervous giggle through the scarf that ends up fading into a chuckle. "Oh." As with many of her adventures in Sunnybrook, she is glad she can't blush, although she might as well be with the look she is giving Katlyn. "Oh, wow thanks." Finally, someone who can appreciate Sam's hard work to look like she does not care while still looking good!
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn smiles a goofy little smile as she hears the nervous giggle, her eyes look up and catch Sam's. Her green eye bright with excitement and her blue eye dull with anxiety. She didn't say anything about already knowing her name, so that's good. It's natural, she's using her name and it's completely organic. 'do you like your drink.' she writes on the pad.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam coughs away the last of the giggles before reading the note, still smiling under the scarf. "Oh, yeah, it's pretty good, has a nice punch." Sam does not even think about Katlyn knowing her name, hell, she just glazed over that fact. "So, now that we've talked for awhile, what's your name?" She says, most of the nervousness gone. Only thing left is a shade of awkwardness that exists when Sam meets someone new.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn smiles, she knew she would have Sam's drink preference down. She had enough notes to get a good idea about the girl and what she would like. Number one on that list? Katlyn. Because Katlyn is perfect for Sam, just ask Katlyn. She reaches over and opens her hoodie to show the patch sewn on the inside of her hoodie, in big bold text is written her name. 'KATLYN'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam takes a close gander at the patch, taking the time to take in Kat's smell… so she can find her again of course. "Nice to meet you, Katlyn. My name is Sam." Sam really did not notice the fact that Kat already mentioned her name, either that or she's just going through the motions.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn smells of a mixture of weed and hibiscus, more the latter than the former. Oil paint as well but it's more subtle of a tone. She nods her head and reaches over to write, 'nice to meet you samantha. you look very cu'. As she is confessing some attraction to the poor girl her hand reaches over and knocks over her drink. It spills onto the table, soaking her pad. She quickly stands up and rights the cup, before stumbling over to the counter to get some napkins. Catching her foot on the table legs as she gets up and taking a second to free herself. After a minute she's wiped up the half of her drink she's lost, and sat back down next to Sam. Her face red from embarrassment at the glances from the other patrons and her actions.
<@SirGoldFish> "Oh shit!" If allowed Sam will help with cleaning the mess. ~What did that say, I am cool?~ Sam sits back down and she can't help but fail at suppressing a chuckle at the girl's blushing. All girls were cute when embarrassed and Kat was no exception to that rule of the universe.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn lets her help, of course, too embarassed not to. Her cheeks only burn a little more as she hears the chuckle that she's sure is at her expense. She tries to shake out her notepad and flicks all the way to the back for a dry page. Writing next to a small doodle of a robot, 'sorry. i didnt mean to do that.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam chucks the soaked napkins into a trash can near by once the job is more or less done. Sam, no longer chuckling takes a sip of her drink and says. "It's cool, Katlyn. Happens to everyone. So, uh, what were you writing before the spill?"
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn shrinks into her seat a little, after watching Sam take her drink. She looks down to the page and realizes she doesn't have the power in her to write the phrase again. So she goes for something else. 'doesnt matter.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam shrugs, before taking another gulp, almost done with the damned thing. "If you you say so." She says, mostly believing Kaitlyn's story.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn goes to sip her drip, as she watches Sam drink hers. She writes quickly on the pad. 'would you like another drink.' before looking at Sam expectantly.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam finishes her cup of joe rather quickly. After wiping her mouth she says. "I am not sure, I might need to get back to school for a meal soon…" She says, thinking. ~I have about an hour and a half, maybe I should get a cheap steak somewhere, just to be safe…~
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn shakes her head quickly and starts to scribble again. She can't lose her this quickly, no, she has to keep her around. 'lets get dinner someplace. theres a place with nice steaks nearby. my treat.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam's stomach groans a little… she was rather hungry. "Sure, but I uh" She laughs at herself a little. "I kind of eat a lot… like a whole lot." Sam luckily suppresses the mild embarrassment.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head, writing a quick 'i know.' on her pad before she picks up her notepad and stands up. Tossing her cup away as she heads for the door, making sure Sam is following her and holding the door for her.
<@SirGoldFish> ~WOAH!~ "Wait," Sam gets up rather quickly and she follows just behind Katlyn. "How exactly do you know that?" She says, her eyes ever so slightly narrowing on Kat.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn looks back at her and feels a lump in her throat, she writes as she walks towards the restaurant she had picked out for them to have their first kiss in. She shows it to sam, she actually had an excuse ready this time. 'youre kinda known around school.'
<@SirGoldFish> "Heh." Sam says. ~I guess I do not do a particularly great job at hiding how I eat…~ "Well, Kat, don't listen to what everyone says about me in school. Most of it's rumors. One kid tried to throw holy water in my face because he heard that makes me runaway hissing." ~And that guy got a punch in the face…~
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods along as she listen, and a soundless giggle escapes her at the story. It did sound pretty ridiculous, she's sure the boy payed for it at least. Eventually she guides her to a small hole in the wall restaurant and asks the hostess for a table for two, eventually getting guided to a booth with Sam, tucked in the corner. She motions for Sam to sit first.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam looks around, just like at the coffee shop, looking for strategic points of exit, etc. "Heh, this place is cute." She takes her seat, hoping that Kat will and will not brush against her leg again at the same time .
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn, instead of taking the side of the booth opposite Sam, sits down next to her. She doesn't cross her legs yet and takes off her bag to set on the floor next to her. After slipped off her hoodie, it's now certain she is wearing a sleeveless dress. A few of her arm tattoos showing. She looks around for the waitress.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam scans across the tattoos with a great degree of interest. "Ya know, I've been kind of wanting to get a tattoo since coming to Sunnybrook, but I am not certain if there is a parlor anywhere and any tattoo idea I come up with ends up being super boring/dumb."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn smiles as she nods her head, she starts to write on her pad of paper. 'havent found a place here that is good. took me forever to choose mine.' She reaches over and brushes a finger along the french words along her forearm, smiling at the thought of her and Sam getting matching tattoos. She goes back to write, 'can you order me water. and whatever for yourself.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam reads the note and nods. She orders water for Kat and the biggest steak on the menu, raw of course. "Fuck, I just realized that I don't actually know how to sue hair dyes." Sam says, face palming at her own stupidity.
<LipstickThespian> Kat is quick to add a small pasta dish to the order before the waitress leaves. She looks over to Sam and smiles, 'i can help. i dye mine every week.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam chuckles and smiles at Kat. ~She does do a damn good dye job.~ "Yeah, that would be nice. I think I just want one pink streak before I go any further." "
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head and smiles brightly, a guaranteed second date. Score! She decides now is the time to cross her legs, and rest the same one against Sam's leg. Bold.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam smiles as she starts to giggle as Kat does the leg crossing, no longer shocked and no longer afraid, just a little nervous. Sam smiles warmly at Kat for being such a good… wait what the hell is Kat to Sam?
<LipstickThespian> Kat just sits there and looks down at her lap, her hand fiddling with her pencil as the two sit there. She was always awful at small talk, and it was nice to look down and see the two of them so close to each other. She wondered if the two of them would look this good at the beach together, or something. She's happy that the food is delivered and she doesn't have to try and strike up conversation.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam is a much more cautious eater when out in public due to the scarf. She cuts up the steak into cubes with a knife and feeds the tiny steak cubes into her mouth through the top of the scarf, likely briefly confusing onlookers.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn leans forward and looks over at her, a little concerned at how shielded she is being but remembers quickly why. She goes about eating her own salad, taking her time and just enjoying the company.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam is still a quick eater, and she half way done with her food already. Sam enjoys the company just slightly less than Katlyn.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn sets her salad aside once she's eaten about half of it, she really wasn't that hungry. Too anxious about her situation, she writes on her notepad. 'do you want another?'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam puts down the fork, reading the note. "Nah, I think this should hold me off, I would hate to drain your wallet." She chuckles, clearly half way to be sated by the rare steak.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head quickly and looks back down at her lap. She slowly, and this is a calculated move, sway her leg a little up and then down. Brushing it ever so gently against Sam's. The rest of her is locked still, in fear.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam gives a nervous chuckle, not really certain what to think of the brushing, only knowing that she kind of liked it. She continues eating her food at the same pace, there seems to only be a quarter left on her plate at this point…
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn just sits there and fiddles with her pencil, she's still not very hungry but she enjoys being next to Sam. Her slow stroking with her leg continues, and she decides idle chatter while they eat is a good idea. 'besides working out. what do you do.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam goes to read the note, this chatter is really slowly down her pace. "Uhh, I watch tv, listen to music, and just participating in the general going ons around school. I've thought about participating in that little arena, but I've yet to get the chance. Guess I'm pretty boring overall." She chuckles at herself.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head and shrinks back into her seat. At least she had some tidbits to go on, something to add to her profile on Sam. She flagged down the waiter as they walked by and slipped him money from purse to hand to him. It was easier to just get the bill payed before you were done, they weren't going to stay for wine anyway.
<@SirGoldFish> "What about you, what do you do?" Sam asks with a smile, honestly curious what this strange yet nice girl does in her free time.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn looks back from the waiter and goes to write on her notepad. 'i draw. i play guitar. i longboard. im boring really. i dont get out much.' Finishing up writing she looks up to Sam's face, and then down to her lap again as she catches the smile.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam nods along, chuckling at the last part, seems that neither of these girls get out all that much. "Heh, that reminds me how I used to play piano when I was younger, instructor said I was gifted." ~Looking back on it, 90 percent sure that creator kidnapped him.~
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn writes a quick response this time, 'oh cool. do you still play?' Her interest seems piqued and she leans just a hair towards Sam in a subconcious act of attraction. All the while her leg plays it's idle game of brushing against Sam's in a slow swing.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam has accepted Katlyn's game, enjoying it without even knowing. "Oh no, lessons started when I was nine and ended when I was like eleven, doubt I could remember how to fucking play twinkle twinkle star." She muses before taking only one bite of her steak, damn Katlyn, this is probably the slowest you've ever seen Sam eat.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn echoes the statement with a small little soundless laugh at the comment. She turns her pencil around and moves her body so she can lean against Sam. Reaching in front of Sam, between her and her steak, she starts to tap the table. Moving it along the table table and striking it with varying degrees of power. It becomes evident to anyone who might know the common tune, that she's mimicking the piano key strokes for twinkle twinkle.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam chuckles as she begins to lean into Katlyn as well which is not weird at all and did not mean anything since she did this with all her friends… She says "Cute" with a smile once her chuckling dies.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head as she finishes the song played by eraser on table and leans back, partially on Sam. She doesn't move like it's a mistake at all, but she feels a little stiff after the fluid motion. The check had already been dropped off with her change, and the only thing keeping them there was themselves.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam might not be the smartest when it comes to social encounters, but she is not completely blind to them. Sam realizes the position she is in and giggles. Sam puts a hand on Katlyn's lap and says in a soft yet somewhat teasing tone. "Are you sure there was no reason you decided to approach me?"
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn only lets the hand sit there for a second before she slips away and heads to the end of the booth. Standing up, she looks back to Sam and shakes her head in a very dismissive fashion. Grabbing her notepad and bag, and some of the change (she's not evil she tips). She stands by the table and waits for Sam to get up as well.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam gives a saddened expression, disappointed at Katlyn's reaction to the question. Did Sam do something wrong? Sam gets up. "So, back to school?" She asks, curious, wondering if Kat has any more plans.
<LipstickThespian> Kat watches her get up and starts to head to the door. She shrugs her shoulders as she didn't have any more concrete plans beside a few romantic endeavors she's not sure she can pull off. At the same time not wanting to go back to the school just yet. After getting outside and keeping the door open for Sam she writes in her notebook. Showing it then, to Sam, 'what do you want to do.'
<@SirGoldFish> "I am not sure where else to go…" A hopeful look comes across Sam's face. "You're still up to help dye my hair tomorrow?"
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn's lips slip into a compassionate smile and she nods. She reaches up to push a few strands of hair that had been unsettled by the nod back behind her ear. 'we could sit in the park.' she writes and shows Sam.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam has time, the steak was filling and something about Kat and their time together… "Sure, I'd like that. I'd like that a whole lot." A happy expression comes across Sam's face.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn turns and starts to walk towards the park, glancing back to make sure Sam hasn't abandoned her as she walks there. It's a short walk and luckily the park is usually pretty empty, especially in the winter months. She sits down on a bench tucked by some trees after their quiet walk and sets her bag beside herself.
<@SirGoldFish> After tucks her belongings somewhere near by, she settles down next to Kat. She wants to lean against her again, but does not want to initiate.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn zips up her hoodie to keep the cold at bay, it is still winter and she's not wearing layers. She finds her notebook again and her pencil and sets it on her lap. It takes her a second before she writes a very simplistic declaration for Sam to see. 'i like you.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam's eyes widen before she goes to Embrace Katlyn in a hug, quickly pulling away, as she starts nervously laughing. This is clearly normal, Sam, friends hug friends. that's just what friends do. "I like you too." Such good friends.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn lets herself be embraced, but doesn't return it. As Sam slips away she seems to shrink a little on the seat. She wanted that right? This is exactly what she wants, so why is her stomach filled with dread and her head pounding with an ache that won't go away. She reaches into her bag and starts to dig around to look for something.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam waits, curious at Kat's reaction. Hugging is what friends do, right? A small bit of suppressed worry comes over Sam's face.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn slips her hand around something and holds it in her bag once she's found it. Her free hand writes on the notepad in her lap before she turns it so Sam can read it clearly. 'close your eyes.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam is nervous, what if this is a set up like she thought? What if there are assassins around? What if Kat is a really awkward succubus that targets people without social grace?! Well, Sam has not been betrayed thus far in Sunnybrook. She closes her eyes. "What is this?" She says, anxiety in her voice.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn pulls the surprise out of her bag and sets it in Sam's lap, the feeling of cardboard and plastic. She uses her other hand to tap Sam's thigh to try and get her to open her eyes.
<@SirGoldFish> What if this is a bomb? What if this is a box to extract Sam's soul? What if a tiny man will pop out of this thing and stab Sam in the brain?! Sam opens her eyes with several degrees of apprehension.
<LipstickThespian> In her lap sits a… doll? A still in package Frankie Stein Monster High doll she had bought on ebay a few weeks back. Katlyn is wearing a worried look on her face, but she is trying to hide a smile.
<@SirGoldFish> "PShttt" Sam is overcome by laughter holding looking at the doll then back at Kat. Normally she'd be offended at something like this and be overcome with righteous anger, but a friend? "Wow, really?" She playfully punches Kat on the arm. "You're a punk, a cute one but still." She says in a happy tone, devoid of anger or scorn.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn joins her in the laughter, though her's doesn't produce a sound. She had that tucked away in her room for weeks now waiting for it. After the playful punch she reaches over and rubs her arm, acting like it hurt. At the c word she looks down at her lap and away.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam puts down the doll in her shopping bag. "Okay, now I am convinced. There is no way you asked me out on this…" Sam's brain does some processes, thinking over the night and comparing it to what she knows and has read, "This… date for no reason."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn shakes her head quickly, waving her hand to dismiss the idea. She reaches for her notebook and knocks it off her leg on to the ground. Bending at the waist she grabs it off the floor but manages to drop her pencil in the same motion. After a series of events she finally has her things back together and writes, 'nope.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam leans into Kat, just like at the restaurant. "Whatever you say, Katlyn." She says with a teasing tone and smile. Sam does not believe Kat, no way this was spontaneous considering that doll, but it does not matter to Sam. Katlyn will not admit it.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn doesn't pull away from her, her cheeks flushing with color at the teasing tone. She writes on her notepad, 'i have another present. if thats okay.'
<@SirGoldFish> A look of slight shock comes across Sam's face "Heh, I wont mind, but you do know that means I'll have to get you a gift too, Katlyn."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn shakes her head quickly. 'no gifts.' she writes on her pad before she follows it up by circling the phrase 'close your eyes.' from above on the pad. She then goes to dig into her satchel to find something.
<@SirGoldFish> "If you give me this gift, you'll force my hand Katlyn." She closes her eyes. "I'll have no choice but to get you something as well, later on." A small cheeky smile forms on Sam's face.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn pulls out the small little glass bottle with the light pink mist. Thanks Akemi, really helping a girlfriend out. She's quick with her hand as she moves it around and, wait how does this work? She said sugar glass right, something about breaking easily. So she does what any normal person would do to apply the mist to Sam, she slams the bottle into her chest and causes it to shatter.
<@SirGoldFish> Due to Sam's odd biology, brain structure, etc: The mist does not quite work entirely. Sam is not overcome by desire, but holyshit does Kat look hot right now… Sam turns to Kat, not angry even though she normally would , with a confused smile. "Woah, what was that?"
<LipstickThespian> Kat looks around as the pink mist dissapates and the sugar glass falls to the ground around them. She shrugs her shoulders, she's not sure exactly what was supposed to happen. She writes on her pad, 'i dunno.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam's body is now dealing with bringing Sam back to normal, but for now she in this odd state. She looks at the glass with a smile. ~Why would she,~ Sam looks at Kat. "Your eyes are fucking beautiful, you know that?"
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn looks up at her, a wry smile on her face as she looks at her with her mix and match eyes. She liked that compliment, she liked it a lot. She took the opportunity to slide up against Sam on the bench, wrapping her leg loosely around Sam's as she looked up at her. No time to write, she's too busy watching Sam.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam allows Kat's leg to do as it pleases as Sam leans her head on Kat's shoulder. "It's not just your eyes though it's like… everything." She says as she begins to full on nuzzle Kat. "Promise, promise me that there will be more dates like this, Katlyn." She says with almost pleading pale green eyes
<LipstickThespian> Kat adjusts herself so her shoulder might be a little more comfortable for Sam to lean her head on. As the girl starts to nuzzle her she glances down to her hands in her lap, squeezing each other until they're white with tension. One slips out and goes to write on her notepad. 'okay samantha.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam continues to nuzzle, the lust curse still has not left her. She's just riding this feeling, this awesome feeling. "This day has been amazing~." She says as she looks up at Katlyn with a warm grin.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head in agreement. She felt sick again from being so close to someone, even after bringing this on herself. Maybe she felt that she had a chance and that this time it wouldn't make her sick. That didn't work out. So she does the bravest thing she can do in that moment and reaches over with her free hand. Carefully setting it on Sam's hand.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam might as well be eating out of Kat's hands; she accepts it, holding onto Kat's hand. "Katlyn, I need to tell you. I've never felt anything like this before… and I love it."
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn would whimper if she could make a sound. Just like she imagined, she would write poetry about this moment and keep it in her heart always. She gives Sam's hand a squeeze and then starts to use her finger to make slow circles on the back of Sam's hand.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam gives a small "ohehe" letting Kat know that she likes that. In return, Sam rubs her leg against Kat, being a little bolder and perhaps just a tad bit more suggestive.
<LipstickThespian> Kat lets her leg be rubbed, the coarse material of Sam's jeans and her silky tights making a wonderful sensation for her. She reaches her free hand over and drops her pencil in the bag, before grabbing the sharpie and reaching over. Moving her fingers but still holding Sam's hand, she very slowly and with a flirty font writes her number on the back of Sam's hand.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam waits with many degrees of anticipation, the pen rubbing on her skin feeling so right. She looks down at what was written. "Oh wow," she laughs a little. "Looks like I am gonna have to buy a phone." She says with a smile, she can't wait to be able to text Katlyn whenever she wants…
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn smiles at the thought, she would buy Sam a phone. And jewelry, and more steak dinners, and lotion for back rubs. For now she was content to enjoy the moment, but she always fires off one to many little things at once, and she draws a slow heart around the number.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam is just enjoying the moment, and rubbing Kat's arm very slowly~. The lust potion begins to wane, but it does not matter. Sam has swallowed this up, hook, line, sinker, and even a little bit of the pole. She is loving this moment. Question is, will this last once the two are apart. What will Sam think of this after the fact?
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn looks up at the night sky, her lack of warmth, and the lack of warmth of the girl she's with. She writs on her notepad after careful deliberation. 'we should get back.'
<@SirGoldFish> Sam pouts a little, disappointed. But, the lust potion is mostly gone from her system, currently she is just riding her feeling. Sam nods, "Alright, but only if we get to walk back together." She gives a cheeky smile.
<LipstickThespian> Katlyn nods her head and starts to pack her things away, keeping the notepad and sharpie in her hand as she. Well as she doesn't stand up and just stays there next to Sam.
<@SirGoldFish> Sam gets everything as well making sure the dye and the dolls are secure. She lingers around, sitting next to Katlyn for a solid minute before getting up. "Alright, time to go." She says as she begins their relatively slow walk to the school.
