Once again our poet friend is at it once more it seems. The courtyard was engraved with a message written in the snow itself. It appears as thought the artist has used a shovel to leave their mark this time. After stumbling in a ditch and nearly ruining the message I had to go up to a roof nearby just to read it.
"Tonight our plight is smothered in light.
Half truths from youths who don't believe in sooths….
End the trend of foe or friend
Torn between what we say and mean
Remember this December and it's dying ember
Undo the fire that has lost its pyre…
Take it now and don't forget to smile…
Here instead the truth written in red."
Well I don't know what they mean, but they sure are creative and seem to be good hearted. Seems this poet wants all to smile this holiday. I hope you do…
Yours truly, John R.
