New School, New Opportunities
By Fujishima Yukihime
With their new life at Fifth Sanctum, students are still settling in but are already exploring the new activities this school offers. Still, some may notice that the school hasn’t provided a listing of these and most students are having to find them out by asking on a case by case basis. To help the student population, we’ve compiled a list of some of the great fun activities that students can participate in.
- The Town of Haven
One of the biggest changes students may notice is the Town of Haven, located all around our campus. With the lack of travel restrictions, and the town’s pro-anomoly policy, students of all types can finally enjoy an exciting town life. From the cute little shops, to the delicious meal options, there’s something for everyone. Great news for you fliers as well, there’s lots of greenspaces to land in throughout the town.
- A Cafeteria with Real Food
Tenured students might recall the old cafeteria and it’s notoriously bad menu and lack of diet options. Sanctum’s cafeteria is as opposite as one can get to it. Employing actual chefs, as well as some of the more culinary experienced students, there is now a whole new menu of delicious items that fit every diet type. Plus, it’s included as being part of a student.
- Clubs that Matter
While there were clubs before, they actually mean something now. Fifth Sanctum is providing financial backing and help to clubs that want to get out there. From community service, to fun activities, the school is willing to put it’s values to the test by supporting it’s students.
- Encouraged Extracurricular Activities
Looking for something extra on top of your students? Teachers are willing to provide one on one extracurriculars. Including structured trips and events that are designed to help students not only explore their own potential, but help others out. Unsure where to start? Just ask a teacher!
- Travel by Train
Starting in the new year, the train station on campus will be available for use by all students for a small fee. Travel will be open on weekends with a pass, and students will not have to worry about safety with the school’s new bracelets and alert systems. Wherever a student is, they’ll be offered protection. Stay tuned for more details.
As Fifth Sanctum grows into it’s new year, it’s easy to get into the same habits of our old campus. Students should remember that this is a new start for all of us, and that they only need to ask and reach out for great opportunities. Remember, just ask if you’re not sure!
