Demeanor: There’s no reason to talk about your life story, he doesn’t care. It’d be like talking to a wall, but eventually this wall will tell you to shut the hell up. What even is the point of life? There is none. If you want to kill him, he doesn't give a damn. Although, has no reason to fight unless you give him one. He’d never try to kill you unless you stand in the way. He might hurt you for fun, but what’s the real harm in that in a school full of the supernatural? He just wants to have some fun, that’s all. Something to do in this damn school for weirdos.
Nature: Hard-wired to kill a target with no remorse, trained to feel nothing but apathy for his opponents. No feeling whatsoever. Nihlus knows when he’s walking into a losing battle and isn’t stupid enough to keep going into it. It’s like putting your hand in a fire and keeping it there when you feel the pain. Running from a battle might be considered cowardice, but it’s a wise means of survival. A base instinct. He's not afraid of death, but he knows that an assassin doesn't work well dead. Run away from a fight you can’t win. Isn’t that what we all do?
Description: What your character looks like, etc. Pictures can either be linked here or posted under Miscellaneous, but don't display the image here.
HP and Psyche start at 6, can't raise during creation, but add 1/2 of Brawn to HP.
Brawn, Agility and Brains start at 1 each, starting cap 4, total cap 6, and you get 5 points to distribute among them.
HP: how physically healthy you are
Psyche: how mentally healthy you are
Brawn: Your physical capabilities
Agility: Your speed and dexterity
Brains: How smart you are and how well you think
Things your character is good at, things normal people can do
Skills rolls add their associated stat as well (Brawn, Agility or Brains). You get 12 points to spend on skills at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 6.
- Martial Arts - (4) Brawn (Obviously for fighting.)
- Free Running - (4) Agility (For scaling buildings and other surfaces.)
- Enhanced Senses - (4) Brains (While his senses have not been enhanced to superhuman levels, they have been brought to a very high condition through training.)
These are things you're character accomplishes via their power.
Abilities/Powers should be fairly broad, but look at other characters for good examples. They can grow over time, so don't worry if you start on the small side! You get 7 points to spend on powers at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 7. Powers add your Tier to their rolls, usually.
Guise of the Hidden - # - Nihlus can remove every possible way you can perceive him by activating this power. This eliminates a persons ability to see him, hear him, smell him, touch him and otherwise sense him directly in any way whatsoever. The only thing that works along with his powers is a black and grey tech suit that adapts to this power.
Rapid Regeneration - # - Nihlus can rapidly regenerate. In other words, he can recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, and slowing the aging process. The rate of healing will be about thirty minutes to heal a lost limb and thirty seconds to heal a cut. While he can heal like this, making him hard to permanently damage him, he will die if his head or heart is removed from his body.
Enhanced Physique - # - Nihlus has enhanced strength, running speed and drastically enhanced reaction speed, allowing him to dodge bullets and maneuver around complex attacks, catch falling objects, block detriments and react inhumanly fast to what others take more time to react to. He might also be able to grab certain projectiles or block speeding projectiles. This ability also allows him to pick up more heavier objects with ease or even allow him to reach speeds at a maximum of 40 MPH. Of course, this ability still makes him tired. When using it, it will make him run out of breath easily, becoming a detriment to his performance.
Things that cause problems for your character, often side effect of your powers (or of having your powers), not necessary. Not just 'limitations' of your powers.
- My weakness is cupcakes
List everything your character carries on their person here. Be reasonable.

And everything that they keep in their dorm at SunnyBrook. Anything that's not listed here or in the section above will be difficult for the character to retrieve.

Jackson Mercer was born on March 4, 2002. He was second born to Marie and Johnson Mercer who already had one daughter, Catherine, born four years earlier on April 17. Two years later, Gary Mercer, youngest sibling to Jackson and Catherine Mercer, was born on October 23.
Jackson lived most of his young life getting into trouble. Marie, his mother, dreaded the phone call from school at first, but eventually it became commonplace, despite the disappointment it brought. Jackson would get into trouble for getting into fights, or stealing from the teacher or skipping class. Catherine would always tease him about it, calling him a troublemaker. While, it didn’t do much in the way of putting him down, it told Jackson that Catherine didn’t much care for him, or at least to him it seemed. The only friend he had was his brother, Gary. They would always play together and even get into trouble together, no matter the odds. Jackson thought the world was against him and his brother. It didn’t take much, but ultimately gave him the idea to run away.
With that thought in mind, the ten-year-old Jackson packed his clothes and some snacks in a bag, took his brother, and left without a word one day while his mother and father were distracted by Catherine. He didn’t look back… but Gary did. Hours went by, and of course, they had all but run out of food. Their parents were worried when they had realized they had both left. It seemed like it was the end of the line. Gary pleaded for them to go back home, but Jackson tried to convince him and himself otherwise. It was then, Gary had left that corner street they were on and headed back home. But, just as Jackson stood up to follow his brother, a car pulled up beside him. As the window rolled down, a man smiled down at Jackson. “We’ve been watching you for a while, Jackson. We want to help you. Take care of you.” That’s all he needed to say for Jackson to get into the car. It was probably the worst mistake of his life.
The next thing Jackson remembered was waking up on a bed, everything was blurry, everything sounded muffled and almost like white noise. Out of the noise came a voice, as it cleared, it said “Nihlus.” Jackson had lost all of his memory. It was as if he wee just born. Nihlus… that must be his name. Nihlus. “Nihlus…” He muttered on the bed, trying to sit up. He said it over an over. For a brief moment, he didn’t know how to speak any language, but he remembered how to speak English. The boy sat up. Things began to come into view, the voices became clear. It… was strange. It was as if he could hear more… see clearer… move faster. Nihlus felt no happiness… or sadness. Just this constant state of nonemotional existence.
Sat next to him in a chair was a man. A man he didn’t remember from the car window. The man simply smiled. “Nihlus? Is that your new name? Well, now. It’ll have to do.”
For the next six years, Nihlus was trained through harsh means. Injected with scientific serums that would make him faster, stronger and more resilient. Turned into a killer… an assassin. The ‘perfect assassin’, hard-wired to kill his targets efficiently, quickly and quietly. He was cut off from all of his morals, he felt only apathy towards others, killing was simply second-nature to him. It was a fact of life.
Through esoteric means, Nihlus was able to learn how to jump higher, move faster, regenerate faster and even go invisible altogether. He was able to become completely incognito. Erasing all ways to perceive him. He wasn’t trained to his peak condition, though.
When he was sixteen, the facility he was being held and trained at was infiltrated by the GWU, they caught his captors and took Nihlus to Sunnybrook School for the Extraordinary so he could live the life he never got to live. Get the education he was barred from getting. Since his retrieval, his allegiance has been shifted to the GWU. After all, dead men make poor leaders.
- Nihlus is ambidextrous, meaning he is able to use the right and left hands equally well. This is one of the reasons he was chosen.
