**Demeanor: Miguel is an average and unimpressive young man. He gives of a aura of plainness. People have often forgotten his name.
Nature: Miguel is quiet and reserved. He prefers to be a wallflower. Deep down he is kind and gentle but having grown up the son of undocumented immigrants has made him suspicious and mistrustful of others. Mostly he likes to be left alone to work on his personal projects or to go out for a walk into nature.

Skills rolls add their associated stat as well (Brawn, Agility or Brains). You get 12 points to spend on skills at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 6.
Bushcraft 3 (brains): Miguel grew up spending lots of time in the forest. He's become quite the outdoors man. He knows how to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together, how to make shelter from forest debris, how to find his way without getting lost, etc.
Tinker 4 (brains): Growing up in a junkyard surrounded by stuff he could pull apart, Miguel became a competent backyard mechanic and electrician as well as learning how to use power tools and weld.
Archery 2 (agility): Miguel enjoys quiet and meditative activities. One day he made himself a bow out of some abandoned lumber. Firing it helped him clear his mind and find his center. He spent a lot of time doing this whenever he was stressed or upset about something.
Scrappy 3 (brawn): Being small and the son of Hispanic immigrants made Miguel a target for bullying. He's learned to use quickness, low blows and dirty fighting techniques to get an edge on bigger opponents.
Miguel's power is technological intuition.
Analyze 4: Upon seeing a machine or technological apparatus, Miguel is able to immediately and intuitively understand the physical and chemical properties of it's materials. He can "see" how energy flows through it and is converted between forms and how information is processed in computers. (Chemical energy into heat, into mechanical energy and then into electricity in a gasoline generator for example.) This means that he can understand, repair, improve or sabotage it.
Design 3: Miguel can build whatever he can imagine given the time, tools, and materials. He does not need to do any calculations, understand scientific principles or think about it logically anymore than a quarterback needs to know the physics of projectile motion to throw a pass. The ability is intuitive and subconscious. It comes as inspiration.

The room has normal furniture and is decorated with the artwork of H.R. Giger. There's a desktop computer put together from spare parts that is very versatile. There are all the tools a junk yard inventor might need ranging from wrenches and saws to equipment for welding and soldering. There's assorted junk that's been scavenged from the school and surrounding areas.
Miguel is the son of Chilean immigrants to the United States. His family managed to scrounge and save enough to purchase a junk yard in rural America. Miguel grew up skipping school to keep from being bullied on account of his quiet demeanor as well as his ethnicity. He spent his days pulling apart junk and putting it back together to sell to make money for his family as well as wandering through the forests near his town.
Then, the day after his fifteenth birthday, his powers awakened. He used them to equip a junked Lambretta scooter with super-conducting electromagnets so that it used magnetic repulsion with earth's magnetic field as a source of lift and an ion thruster for acceleration. He went out joy riding and promptly wrecked hover-scooter, suffering severe injuries.
