Player: WetBeard Not the name of your character
Demeanor: Excalibur is not the fearsome super weapon Pearson Labs was hoping to create. He's terrible off, in fact. Excalibur also feels this way as a failure to his purpose. He is also very silent, although not at all shy. He acts much alike any other person in most things.
Nature: Excalibur is deeply troubled, potentially one of the biggest failures during his creation was the psychological pre-training. Instead of giving him the ability to be a fearless warrior it more resulted in him becoming PTSD riddled and extremely conflicted on thoughts and beliefs.
Description: It is no doubt Excalibur is a failure. He has effeminate features and a surprisingly small body for 'weapon'. The right side of his chest features an exposed rib-cage. While other parts of his body sports scales instead of skin. He stands at 5'6 and weighs just about 110 pounds. He has short black hair and green eyes. He also has a tail belonging to that of a lizard, used as alternate weapon and advanced balancing. He pretty much wears a white t-shirt and jeans everyday. Probably because that's all he has.
HP and Psyche start at 6, can't raise during creation, but add 1/2 of Brawn to HP.
Brawn, Agility and Brains start at 1 each, starting cap 4, total cap 6, and you get 5 points to distribute among them.
Things your character is good at, things normal people can do
Skills rolls add their associated stat as well (Brawn, Agility or Brains). You get 12 points to spend on skills at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 6.
- Balance - (4) Agility (Acrobat/Gymnastics)
- Patience - (3) Brains Defense
- Battle Mind - (4) Brains (Relating to Strategy and Technique)
- Perception - (4) Brains
These are things you're character accomplishes via their power.
Abilities/Powers should be fairly broad, but look at other characters for good examples. They can grow over time, so don't worry if you start on the small side! You get 7 points to spend on powers at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 7. Powers add your Tier to their rolls, usually.
Battle Physiology - 2 - Excalibur was designed as a weapon, but being a living weapon means he also needs defenses, these defenses come has scales that cover specific places of his body. scales are /hard/. They're not really found on any creature and can be mostly summed up as 'Lab designed'. Being near bullet proof and such. Replaces Brawn Defense in the areas he has scales, this includes his entire backside, the left side of his chest, his lower torso, and all over his tail. Not only this, but Excalibur's organs and muscles are heavily improved. The heart beats much faster and the lungs can pump more oxygen. Physically Excalibur is both a success and outstanding. This acts as an athletics roll.
Gravity Field - 2 - Almost… A form of telekinesis, Excalibur can produce a false gravity field around itself to which objects are drawn into. Think of it less like gravity and more like telekinesis that only works with objects being drawn to Excalibur. This roll determines the strength of the pull.
Weaponized - 3 - Excalibur has been trained on how to use weaponry like an expert through extensive revolutionary training and brainwashing. This power acts as replacement roll for Marksmanship and Agility Melee Combat.
Things that cause problems for your character, often side effect of your powers (or of having your powers), not necessary. Not just 'limitations' of your powers.
- Weak Minded - Mild Excalibur was put through some tough mental training and brainwashing which as left him… Thoroughly mentally broken. Outside of battle imagery of war, death, and brutality and some sounds easily trigger this. However inside of battle he seems rather immune to it.
- The Flesh is also Weak - Severe Excalibur's near bulletproof scales means his body was not designed for wounds, and this is easily seen. Excalibur's improved heart also means faster bleeding which means more severe wounds if not treated. If a wound is not treated within two turns, Excalibur takes an extra point of damage. Up to addition 2 damage can be given to a single wound. If the extra point of damage would be fatal, Excalibur instead immediately falls unconscious.
List everything your character carries on their person here. Be reasonable.
- The clothes on my back
- Well I mean I do have a knife
- That's it
And everything that they keep in their dorm at SunnyBrook. Anything that's not listed here or in the section above will be difficult for the character to retrieve.
List what your character's life has been like, from birth until 2018. The more, the better. Be sure that all of your character's skills and supernatural abilities are mentioned.
Pearson Labs was founded shortly after the reveal of the supernatural as a private corporations that would use artifacts in the name of science, however this was merely a facade. In reality Pearson Labs was funded secretly by the American government in hopes of producing a 'Synthetic (Bio)Organic and Psi-Kinetic (Parapsychological) Weapon'. Their process wasn't at all clean or ethical, using human cloning as a base they would interact with the babies before birth using several artifacts.
The project was given a fitting name: Project Excalibur, for whoever held these weapons should be unstoppable. The first trials failed, and it wasn't until trial five that there was finally a survivor. However, survival was a hard thing to say, as it was still barely holding onto life. It was considered a failure due to many standards - Lacking imposing features, the right set of ribs were external, the scales didn't cover all over - it was still in their eyes, a success. Finally a survivor.
It was put through the standard procedures as Pearson Labs was stressed to get something to show for their work. They began to mentally train and brainwash it, using revolutionary methods to implant battle technique and methods. This of course did backfired slightly as these revolutionary methods are also very new, giving it PTSD along side of the knowledge.
Finally the day came, while the government was less than happy with what they were shown, it did show promise. Just enough to allow for extra funding into Pearson Labs. It was practically forgotten afterwards, Pearson Labs had moved on. They did produce what they wanted, but they weren't ready for it. One day it went on a rampage, destroying large portions of the labs and the surrounding area before it was finally killed.
However… It escaped. T5P1. Amongst the chaos he found his way out, adopting the name 'Excalibur' after the project that created it. Fifth Sanctum eventually found Excalibur and accepted him into the school. Excalibur accepted, scared, confused, lost, and hardly having much of a advance education.
Might put something here.
