Demeanor: Dorothy is generally pretty calm and quiet.
Nature: Dorothy is 100% genuine. She may be little more than a glass eye, but she's the realest (in a kind way) person you'll ever meet.
Description: Dorothy is contained in a glass eye kept in a golf ball sized display case. She has no body of her own, so there's not much to describe!
Things your character is good at, things normal people can do
- Clarity - (4) Brains
- Perception - (4) Brains
- Knowledge - (3) Brains
- Social - (4) Brains
These are things you're character accomplishes via their power.
Mind Hopping - 4 - Dorothy can move from one set of eyes to another into the mind of a new host. This is an opposed roll if Dorothy is not wanted. Once inside, she can make another roll, if she wishes, to force control (opposed) of the host body for a turn. Dorothy can also create false perception in a host, causing them to see something that isn't really there or not see something that is. She can use this aggressively, as an opposed roll to cause Psyche damage in a host.
Thoughts - 3 Dorothy can sift through the thoughts of a host. This is like mind-reading, and can reveal intentions and detect lies, for example.
Things that cause problems for your character, often side effect of your powers (or of having your powers), not necessary. Not just 'limitations' of your powers.
- Dorothy has no body of her own. Without a host, she cannot interact with the world around her. Her health, brawn, agility, and related skills are dependent on her host. The glass eye in which she normally resides has a health of 3, brawn of 0, and agility of 0. (Severe)
- Dorothy cannot lie to her current host. Any lie she might try to tell is told with a background shape of what the truth really is, showing both that and how she lied. (Mild)
- Dorothy cannot actively use a host's powers. She cannot use their brain skills. She can use their brawn or agility skills at a -2 penalty when controlling a body, or convince the host to use the skills themselves at full value.
List everything your character carries on their person here. Be reasonable.
- Glass eye
Claire Wilde was born with one eye and one arm and one imaginary friend: Dorothy. Dorothy lived in Claire or Claire's glass eye for fourteen years. In that time, Claire bounced from doctor to doctor trying to treat Claire's long lasting imaginary friend until the family found one who, supernatural herself, proposed the idea that the imaginary friend may be supernatural. At that point, Dorothy was addressed, for the first time in her own life, as a real person. She had a year of therapy of her own before being referred to Fifth Sanctum to practice being a real person.
