Demeanor: Low-key cheery, good-natured, occasionally prone to extreme wrath and exaggerated demonstrations of common sins. Very shy and awkward.
Nature: Continuously struggling between boredom, keeping track of her too-fast brain, and containing her demonic nature, Cam does her best to be a good person regardless.
Description: Cam appears like any finely-featured Middle Eastern girl, with a darker skin tone perhaps hinting at some east African heritage. The impression is spoiled only by the fact that she has six arms and, from hips and down, she has a huge and muscular serpentine tail in place of legs glistening with green and orange scales on a cream underbelly. A crown of curving, spiral horns emerges from her straight black hair.
Things your character is good at, things normal people can do
Skills rolls add their associated stat as well (Brawn, Agility or Brains). You get 12 points to spend on skills at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 6.
- I'm A Freaking Marilith - (4) Agility Being literally the offspring of a demonic warrior comes with some advantages. Melee combat.
- The More You Know - (4) Brains Growing up under the tutelage of her mom's dear friend Climbing Vine's given Cam a great grounding in all kinds of weird esoterics. Knowledge, especially Occultism.
- Lightning Speed: (4) Agility So mariliths are fast. Who knew? Reflex, Evasion.
Demonic Physiology- 3 - Superhuman stamina, armor-hard scales, the ability to completely rip off Athene, and surprisingly adept swimming skills. (Endurance/Toughness skill replacement, Athleticism skill replacement) Oh yeah and she's pretty good at using all them arms to do multiple tasks at once.
I'm A Wizard (First Circle) - 3 - Cam learned sorcery and the like from Climbing Vine as she grew up. While not exactly a master of magic just yet, Cam's not bad and eager to learn more.
Teleport - 3 - You know a neat thing about being an outsider? Being only tentatively attached to the physical plane. Cam's able to teleport around by dispersing into raw magic and reforming elsewhere. Requires line of sight or sufficiently good memory of the location. Currently, doesn't reach too far!
- I'm A Demon: There's a few downsides to being a literal demon. For one, you're huge and awkward. Number two, there's the little bit where holy relics and cold iron burn your flesh and inflict double damage after defense, and you recoil reflexively at the sight of holy symbols. And finding shirts and hats is literally hell. (Severe)

Cameron al-Khandrah is a bit of an anomaly in that, unlike nearly all of her hellborne kin, she was hatched on Earth instead. Turns out the famous demonic warrior and general dimension hopping heroine Kairas al-Khandr decided to settle down and open a coffeeshop in the supernatural-friendly fog-shrouded town of Agloe, New York, with her platonic life partner and best friend, the frog wizard Climbing Vine.
Kairas wasn't natively a marilith. This is relevant for a variety of reasons.
Here comes June 11, 2004. Hatched with a significant reduction in inherent demonic rage and hatred, Cameron found herself growing up in a very large and deep shadow- here's some great multidimensional heroine who kicked ass and took names throughout the planes and here's Cam struggling to learn guitar and help around the coffeeshop. It didn't help that the town was shrouded in perpetual darkness and heavy fog, that the populace was almost all old mages, and she didn't grow up with any friends who weren't three times her age and a quarter of her size. It was frustrating and lonely, but with her mother being such a figure of admiration, how could Cam ever speak of it?
She instead confided in Climbing Vine. As it turns out, this wasn't a bad idea. She spent much of her early teens growing and learning little bits of sorcery when she wasn't going through the homeschool assignments Climbing Vine gave her. And then came the news that the supernatural was revealed, and moreover that there was a school catering just to them.
Cam was excited. Climbing Vine was pleased in his weird abstract way. And Kairas thought it was a fine opportunity to give her daughter the chance to actually meet kids like her without calling the Vatican's kill teams down on her. Win-win.
Cam plays guitar. Badly.
