Alexandria Victoria Elwyn

Basic Info:

Player: SavanahHolland

Demeanor: The first impression that Alexandria gives everyone is well, most certainly odd. Mostly because when they first see her, they get the wrong idea and fall into tears, or perhaps some others feel their madness seep into their own veins and try to kill her. She was used to it, she was trained to be used to it. She's learned that after that, most bets are off, they either avoid her like a grotesque plague, or follow her like a lost duckling only for her appearance. She has a hard time making friends as she is, and it is quite obvious why.

Nature: If anyone in her lifetime ever decided to actually learn her true nature, they'd realize under the strange magic of her seemingly permanent appearance, there is a unique personality that belongs to Alexandria and her alone, well, kinda anyways. She's kind in reality, though as much so as any person would be, if not perhaps just a bit more. She has her selfish moments, but who doesn't? She finds the small things in life to be amazing, and can come off rather positive once you rip off the layer of intense depression and self loathing. When it comes to romance, she has no experience, and usually stays away from the concept itself since she knows it's quite likely that they only stay for her appearance, she knows it's just she's a reminder of better times, they don't care for her herself, and they never will.

Description: Alexandria doesn't quite have a certain appearance, she's whatever you see her as. One character will see the girl as their lost love, another will see her as their tiny baby brother who died in an accident. Alexandria never had a choice, and never will in this. She appears this way to them, and can never change it no matter how hard she tries.

However, Alexandria wasn't always quite this way, before everything, she was normal. She had a mother, a father, a sweet baby sister, and a body, an appearance to call her own. It now can only be seen through her own eyes, or others can see it as well through the gaze of a mirror or the snap of a picture. Faintly tanned skin, deep blue eyes, rough and choppy short chestnut brown hair. She is the perfect picture of what it means to look average, and unlike most, she'd kill to achieve her old average mask over her 'new' one.
Of course, like everything that has ever existed, there's a weak spot. And perhaps Alexandria's isn't the most obvious, but there is a way to tell her apart from your loved ones. Her brand. Burnt into her skin, right on her lower back, having long been scarred and sealed to mark her, is a symbol. The symbol appears to be a circle with lines crisscrossing across it, and something resembling a sunflower in the middle.

Things your character is good at, things normal people can do
Skills rolls add their associated stat as well (Brawn, Agility or Brains). You get 12 points to spend on skills at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 6.

In your eyes, the Truth will Unfold - 4 - "Alexandria, I know you can see through the lies people tell, you're a smart girl are you not? I know it, I know it Alexandria. Focus, please. You can understand the depths of the human mind if you truly try, try and understand, please Alexandria." Analysis, Brains

Bend like we have bent the Opposition's Will - 4 - "Alexandria, you have seen it, we have bent those who stood in our way, have you not? Imagine that, Imagine it as you bend your body, contort into different positions. We do this to save you Alexandria, we teach you these things because we must ensure your survival, you are invaluable to our true cause Alexandria." Gymnastics, Agility

You are Weak, but you will Learn - 2 - "Alexandria, put your passion into your fists, put your passion in the lunge of that knife, your passion into the trigger of your gun. You must learn this. You cower at the sound of a bullet ripping through flesh, you sob at the stench of fresh flowing blood done by your own hands, you scream as you defend your sacred body. You will fight Alexandria." Weapon use and Self Defense, Brawn

Breathe in your Surroundings - 2 - "Alexandria, pay attention, breathe in the world that surrounds you, listen to everything, everyone, every creature. Everything that happens, large or small affects the greater picture Alexandria. You must listen in, and understand to have the upper hand Alexandria." Perception, Brains

Supernatural Abilities:

These are things you're character accomplishes via their power.
Abilities/Powers should be fairly broad, but look at other characters for good examples. They can grow over time, so don't worry if you start on the small side! You get 7 points to spend on powers at creation, with a starting cap of 4 and total cap of 7. Powers add your Tier to their rolls, usually.

Your memories in Lace - 4 - "Sweet Alexandria, you know what you can do. You know the powers you hold in your mind, in your soft slender hand, ǘ͌͒̓̆s̾̌͗ͥ̅e ̓̊t͗͋͊h̒ͮͭem͒ͦ͗ ̌ͧͣ̈̇A̾͗̌̎ͣ͛̎l͒ͧeͨͥx̀̈́̔̊͊̍̚aͧ̈́̿̚n͋ͧd̒ͪ̓ͪͧ͑rͯͩ̽̈͆͒̈́iāͩ. Wrap the traitor's memories in the white lace of your mind, project them to us, show us. We must know Alexandria, show us."

Alexandria has a power that comes in turn with the power she has that never turns off. She can delve into the darkest recesses of a human's mind and project the memories she can find, not all of them, only the ones of her choosing. To the people watching this process, Alexandria's pupils disappear and her eyes go a strange glowing white, white strings, almost looking to appear as lace and unadulterated white ribbons stretch out from her human body and wrap around the willing, or unwilling victim.

Your Perception of me - 3 - "Alexandria, I saw what you did. I saw it, do it again, right now. You can do it, you will do it, I don't care Alexandria. I saw what you did, that girl you were practicing with. That sword almost pierced your tender flesh, but it didn't. You didn't move, but your form did Alexandria."

Alexandria's powers are based off the mental perception of the people around her. When engaged in combat, there is a 1/5 chance of her dodging the attack due to her form moving ever so slightly so that they don't strike her true body.

Your Choice means Nothing - 0 - "Alexandria, stop crying, stop it, right now. You can't go home, you can't be normal again, you were destined for greater things sweet Alexandria. You were brought here for us, for our goal. What is our goal? Oh dear sweet Alexandria, you will learn one day, but for now, you will obey."

Alexandria wasn't always born with her powers, she was normal in every sense of the word, but something changed, something drastic. She started noticing, something was odd, people started saying that she reminded them of others. One day it was eyes, next day it was similar looking hair. It progressed, and only got worse. People started getting confused, calling her wrong names, she was scared. One night, she laid in her bed, stared at the dark ceiling. And you know what happened? It stared right back. She didn't remember much else, just waking up in her new home, or rather what felt like prison. But, she knew, something had happened, she was no longer herself, more so, she no longer looked like herself. In the perception of those around her, she appeared as a lost loved one. Dead, missing, having just left, it didn't matter, she was it, and it scared people. But, it didn't scare her, the woman, the woman knew what was reality and what was illusion.

Things that cause problems for your character, often side effect of your powers (or of having your powers), not necessary. Not just 'limitations' of your powers.

Your Choice means Nothing - 0 - "Oh Alexandria, haha, how funny, you think this can be turned off? You're stuck like this girl. Stuck like this, forever, but darling Alexandria, I'll be by your side, I will teach you, don't worry dear girl."

Alexandria can never turn off her powers, the only time her true form shows is in photographs and mirrors. Of course, her powers have rather obvious social repercussions. She knows she could be attacked just by looking like something that so very obviously shouldn't be alive anymore. She knows she could be assaulted, kidnapped, perhaps worse, but what can she do? She has no choice in the matter.

Personal History:

List what your character's life has been like, from birth until 2018. The more, the better. Be sure that all of your character's skills and supernatural abilities are mentioned.

Alexandria, in her young life lived with both parents, and her young baby sister. She wouldn't say she had an ideal childhood, however her parents were fine to her, if not sometimes a tad unfair seeming in her eyes. As she got older, children her age started to point out that she reminded them of other people. One having commented that she looked like she had the same eyes that his deceased father had. Alexandria didn't mind too much, though the creepy comments from kids and even adults minority bothered her, but why wouldn't they?

Once night, when she was Eleven years old, she came home and went about things as she always had. She had a small snack after school, did her homework after some internal whining, and watched far more television than can probably even be healthy. She goes to sleep, lights turned off, windows closed. Staring up at the pitch-black dark ceiling. But, as her eyes tried to make out in the blackness. She stared deeper into the void that was her ceiling. She felt her heart falling, she felt as if she might start falling. She could feel it. The ceiling, the darkness, the void, staring right back at her. She fell into the darkness, if it was sleep, or something more sinister, it's anyones guess, but she didn't wake up home, and she never would.

When she woke up, there were people around her, she just laid there, she couldn't move, her eyes were open but she felt paralyzed. She felt her stiff body turned over, it hurt badly. The smell of burning flesh filled her nose, burnt her eyes. Her lower back burnt, she tried to scream, but it only burnt her throat and lungs. And once more, she fell into the eyes of the void.

She woke up again. This time, she could move, though not very well. She was laid in a soft white bed, she wore a long white night gown, and her hair seemed longer than it had been in the past, no longer having the short choppiness she was so used to. She wasn't in the room alone, as if the eyes of the void had taken human form, the form of a woman with a deceiving smile that hid her cruel intentions. Long deep scarlet hair the color of flowing red blood, dark burgundy eyes that sparkled with age. A soothing voice that was sweet like honey. She explained, she explained how Alexandria was so very special, how she was sent to them from another world. She knew that couldn't be right, this was her world, there was only one single world, and this was hers, this woman was mad. And perhaps, Alexandria was right, but who knows, it could be quite the opposite.

From then on, she was forced into training. Training to defend herself, to learn everything she can possibly learn to survive. How to control her powers and use it at will, more so at the will of the woman rather than herself. She no longer controlled her body, many years of staying with the woman permanently imprinted on her mind that obedience is the most important thing in life. That she's worthless without her gift, that she was her property, she'd live that way, and in turn die that way.

Years past, Alexandria had turned fifteen, the woman knew this, but Alexandria didn't remember, she couldn't tell you what year it was, what month it was, she was kept in darkness about even the smallest things. One night, things had seemed to change, she was alone in her bed chambers, wearing her gown, and she finally heard it. Screams, shrieks and cries for help and of the worst pain she could imagine. She left her room, running to the sound, she was fearful for her mistress, that she could be in danger. She would be nothing without the woman. She would he worthless, property without a owner. She couldn't let that happen to herself. She came in, dozens of dead bodies of the other members that had talked to her many times before. Men, women, young, old, didn't matter. They were dead, the blood stained her bare feet, stained the bottom of her gown. She turned around, and saw them. People, different ones than the ones she knew, dressed in protective gear with gun and shields. She tried to run, but she could only get so far. The men and women chasing her, something wasn't quite right, then, she understood. They didn't see her as just a child, they saw her for those that had been lost to them.

She couldn't remember what happened next, running, screaming, the sound of something flashing and a bright light. Before she realized anything, she had awoken in a white room. She woke up in a medical bed in the GWU's school, Sunnybrook.
